This is me —

Hello! I’m Matteo Iervolino, a 25-year-old designer based in Milan. I just nished my bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design. My collections focus on several areas like women’s wear, men’s wear, accessories, and textiles. At the base of my working approach, there’s a strong emphasis on innovative techniques and methodologies. However, in-depth research on materials, bers, and textile processes is a must for me.

I am deeply connected to what I create. For this reason, my product aims to represent those who wear it, creating a true sense of belonging. My projects are born from a balance of comfort, functionality, quality, and  sustainability — values I deeply believe in and that guide every stage of my work.

In June 2023, I had the opportunity to showcase two of my collections at two dierent events, one in London and one in Milan. The rst project, “OBSCURA,” is a women’s collection that was presented in London during London Graduate Fashion Week.
The project won the award for Best Look in the contest in collaboration with London Graduate and Untagged.

The second collection, “QUANTUM EFFECT,” was showcased in Milan, where I was selected as one of the top 30 students from the university by a jury composed of journalists, professionals, and industry representatives. I presented my work during “Human Reload”, the nal event that annually allows winners to showcase their looks. The runway show took place at Centro Balneare Argelati, with musical accompaniment provided by the CPM Music
